The GRAMMY Foundation was established in 1989 to cultivate the understanding, appreciation and advancement of the contribution of recorded music to American culture; from the artistic and technical legends of the past to the still unimagined musical breakthroughs of future generations of music professionals.

FIKS is there to fix broken and discarded instruments and get them to be used by the students in poor schools in the Bronx, Brooklyn and Queens. The schools are identified by music teachers in the actual schools with the funds going directly to technicians who fix the instruments.

Church Street School for Music & Art is the only not-for-profit school for the arts in Lower Manhattan serving as a community center supporting a diverse audience with affordable arts programming. The process oriented approach facilitates music education through skill building and development of technique in performance.

An innovative training orchestra at Bard College which does outreach and concerts to middle school and high-schools in the NY metro area. In addition, TON supports a number of scholorships to bring in aspiring teachers to integrate into their broader curriculums.

Established in 1996, at the peak of an arts education crisis in New York City public schools, CAE has been a stalwart advocate for and provider of quality arts education for more than two decades.

Music Will (formerly Little Kids Rock) transforms lives by transforming music education. We believe that music education is a right, not a privilege, and it should reflect the cultures of the students it serves. For over sixty-five years, Newport Festivals have shown that music has the ability to change lives. Newport Festival Foundation's goal is to expand the impact of their festivals by supporting artists and music education programs year-round, across the country.

Theatre Within is a non-profit providing the John Lennon Real Love Project a free music workshop for children and adults impacted by cancer. Theatre Within also provides the John Lennon Real Love Project a free songwriting program for public elementary schools. Children write new lyrics to "Real Love" and record a new version accompanied by John Lennon's original piano and vocal track.

The business of music is tough, and it’s only gotten tougher. Changes in the music industry have left many behind including underground legends, session players and even the big names themselves. When age, illness, or disaster threatens a long career, many have nowhere to turn. These musicians have been saving us with their music our entire lives. These are dignified people who never think to ask for help. Our lifesaving programs turn despair into hope.

The GRAMMY Museum's goal is to eliminate the financial burden to access music education and foster the next generation of music's creators and leaders. The funds raised through the Campaign For Music Education double the number of students who have access to the Museums' galleries each year, and would expand our education and community programs which have served more than 477,000 students.
